Does the platform diagnose or support vision treatment?
Absolutely not. Our platform is not a diagnostic or medical tool — we do not diagnose conditions, assess visual acuity, or engage in treatment. We operate in the realm of digital wellness, providing advanced programs that support daily healthy habits, screen work hygiene, and eye strain prevention.
Does using the system replace a visit to the doctor?
No, and it should never replace it. We always and unequivocally recommend regular, personal visits to an eye doctor and a certified orthoptist as the absolute foundation for eye care. Our platform serves as a smart, at-home tool that supports and promotes preventive measures, teaching the eyes relaxation, ergonomics, and proper habits between specialist check-ups.
Who is the platform for?
We created the programs with adults seeking relief from screen tension and parents wanting to easily care for their children's vision in mind. Each family member selects a zone tailored to their age (4–7 / 8–13 / 14+) — with ready-made, thoughtfully designed paths to get started. The choice of path always belongs to the user.
How much does the subscription cost and what does it include?
We offer three plans that differ only in billing period: monthly (€39/mo), quarterly (€29/mo), and half-yearly (€24/mo). Every plan — without exception — includes the same thing: full access for the whole family (3 profiles in any combination), all age zones, the intelligent AI Distance guardian, and an unlimited PDF Library to print at home. You pay for one subscription — three people get to use it.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time — with just one click in the client panel, without phone calls or forms. After cancellation, the subscription will not renew automatically, and you will retain access to the platform until the end of the paid period.
Does the camera record my child?
No — and this is fundamental for us. The AI Distance Control module analyzes the distance of your face from the screen solely locally, in the device's RAM. The camera feed is never recorded, saved, or sent to any servers. ocu•vio does not take pictures or store any video materials. The privacy of your home stays in your home.
At what age can a child use the platform?
We design programs for children with two groups in mind: Little Ones (ages 4–7) and Older Kids (ages 8–13) — they differ in pace, difficulty level, and storytelling style. Teens and adults have their own space: the Eye Spa Zone, created for eyes tired from screen work.
Do I need special equipment?
All you need is a tablet or laptop with a front camera (for the AI Distance Control feature) and access to a printer if you want to use the PDF Library. We do not send any physical kits — you receive all the value online, immediately after activation. Upcoming 3D Missions will use classic anaglyph glasses (red-green), widely available for just a few dollars — we will inform you in advance.
How much time do the missions take each day?
About 15 minutes — that's all it takes to build lasting, healthy visual habits. Sessions are intentionally short: the built-in Time Boxing automatically ends the program after the scheduled time, because smart prevention also means moderation. No marathons in front of the screen — even in our app.
The platform serves an educational, preventive, and supportive role for visual comfort (Digital Wellness category). The programs do not constitute medical advice or therapy as defined by law.
